Brianna Domaceti, MS (she/her) obtained her bachelor of arts degree at Florida Atlantic University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Dance. She is currently a fourth-year clinical psychology doctoral student at Nova Southeastern University. Brianna's clinical and research interests center on complex trauma, including complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD), the therapeutic alliance, and therapeutic outcomes for survivors of childhood abuse and neglect. She completed her first clinical practicum at the Anxiety Treatment Center, where she treated adults primarily presenting with anxiety-related disorders. She also completed her second clinical practicum at the Trauma Resolution and Integration Program, a clinic focused on providing trauma-informed, affirmative care to adult survivors of childhood abuse and neglect. In addition to clinical work, Brianna is an active member of the TRIP research team, contributing to statistical analyses, ongoing research projects, and manuscript preparation for publication. She serves as the coordinator for the Traumatic Stress Institute Help Desk, where she assists complex trauma survivors in accessing trauma-informed care. She also co-chairs the Complex Trauma Special Interest Group within the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, where she has contributed as a student editor for their newsletter. She has participated in multiple poster presentations and symposiums and contributed to newsletter articles related to clinical training for treating complex trauma. Her professional memberships include the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS), the American Psychological Association Division 56 (Trauma Psychology), the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD), and the Southeast Florida Association for Psychoanalytic Psychology.
