Natalia Seijo is a Clinical Psychologist, with over 20 years of clinical experience, specializing in Complex Trauma, Eating Disorders and Obesity, Psychosomatic and Somatoform Disorders, Dissociative Disorders, and EMDR. Director of NS Psychotherapy and Trauma Centersince 2000. Published author and co-author since 2012. Extensive teaching and public speaking experience dating back to 1994, in countries such as Spain, Cuba, Lithuania, Armenia, France, Argentina, Romania, Poland, Brazil, Belgium, Uruguay, Chile, Russia,Canada, Portugal, United States, Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Scotland, Italy, Thailand,China, Philippines, The Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland, Latvia and Cambodia. Specializes in complex trauma, attachment, dissociation, eating disorders, Psychosomatic and somatoform disorders and autoimmune diseases. She is the director of an outpatient clinic founded 25 years ago in Ferrol, Spain. She is a EMDR Europe Trainer and teacher of EMDR and Eating Disorders and somatoform disorders and trauma workshops in various international conferences. She published chapters in books and articles on the subjects she is expertise. At the end of 2024 she launched her first book “the body has memory” talking about the effects of trauma in the body and the silence stress effects.
She is Co-Director of Master Program in Eating Disorders. Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, Professor at BA in Psychology teaching Practice Training. University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, National and international presenter and instructor. Speaking
