Abstract In this presentation, Dr. Ross will describe a clinical interview to diagnoses DID and will role play his asking the relevant questions. He will provide a conceptual overview and rationale for the interview structure. He will also discuss the differential diagnosis of DID and the key features that differentiate it from schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, complex PTSD and borderline personality disorder. Rather than spending much time on theory and research, the focus will be on concrete examples of key questions to ask and how to ask them plus how to sequence questions in different topic areas including trauma and amnesia.
